In my ongoing vampire series, the dark woods is a metaphor for crossing over a boundary from which one can never return. The world beyond the immortal barrier is seductive and powerful, hedonistic and dangerous. But no creature so beautiful or ruthless can escape the ravages of time. Their only hope of ever conquering the inner demons that hold them captive, is the eternal embrace of their blooded mate. At the center of these stories, no matter how dark or how difficult the battle, there will always be love and passion.
